Work description
Westminster City Council (WCC) and Royal Borough Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) want to up-skill communities and service providers to be better equipped both access and support individuals around mental health. Both boroughs are committed to remodelling their mental health services to be more preventative and adopt early intervention.
This is one of the key priorities set out in both councils' strategies.
The services to be provided included:
- Promoting a new web resource to assist residents of Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea in finding local mental health services. Raising awareness of what is on offer and increasing accessibility for everyone.
- To promote a free mental health training opportunity for everyone in the community: frontline workers and residents - so that people are better equipped to talk to each other about mental health and offer support.
