Work description

The site is known as Bartlett House and comprises an existing former care home building originally constructed in the late 1970s, minor outbuildings, parking areas and gardens.

The building is now vacant and secured with ground floor windows and doors boarded. There are locked low level 5-bar gates at the site entrance. Pole mounted CCTV is present although the Client is likely to off-hire this shortly.

The Works comprise the demolition of the existing building, clearing the site of former parking areas and gardens and the removal of redundant mains services and drainage infrastructure in preparation for a new residential development by the Client. PCI 2 / page 2

The works are further described within the Specification and Scope of Works document issued at Tender Stage dated 14th February 2022

Minimum of 4 (four) weeks from the date of issue of the Contract documents for signature.

The Client is seeking commencement of the works as soon as practicable following the issue of the Contract documents for signature.

The Client is seeking for the Works to achieve practical completion within 12 weeks from commencement.
