Wigan Council Tenants' Home Contents Insurance

Wigan Council sought bids for Tenants' Home Contents Insurance to be available to tenants of Wigan Council's housing stock, with the possibility to extend to leaseholders and Council staff. The contract will run for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. Therefore, the total length of the contract will be a maximum of 5 years or 60 months.

The contract value detailed within the notice is based on the maximum permissible duration of the contract (5 years/ 60 months.) Contract value is ultimately based on uptake of insurance so is expected to be in the region of £800,000 - £1,000,000 over 5 years if all extension options are taken.
