Consultant to Facilitate Fleet Decarbonisation

Description

This contract is to appoint an external consultant to facilitate the decarbonisation of Merton Council's vehicle fleet. This will be done through the creation of an options appraisal, providing cost-benefit analysis for all Ultra-Low Emissions fuelling options as well as for individual vehicle models recommended for replacing current models in the fleet; and through the creation of a decarbonisation strategy, providing a clear path to replacing the fleet with the recommended options, including integrating the procurement of new vehicles with current replacement schedules, best options for procuring and implementing necessary infrastructure, and other actions that can be taken to immediately lower the Council's greenhouse gas emissions.
