TD2035 - Carriageway Maintenance Programme - Concrete Road Repairs 2023-24

Resurfacing projects form a key part of the capital highway improvements programme. In line with asset management, these schemes will repair 6587 sqm of road surface. The programme supports our statutory duty to maintain the network, according to the Highways Act 1980. These schemes will require advanced notification and consultation. These assets are at the end of their lifecycle and require costly reconstruction treatment. If we do not treat at this time, they run the risk of deteriorating further with possible closure of the road(s).
