## Description

A direct award to the British Trust for Ornithology \(BTO\) to deliver the development and trialling of an acoustic monitoring scheme \(BTO Acoustic Pipeline\) for Red-billed Leiothrix, a potentially invasive non-native species \(INNS\) to the UK\. The outputs of this pilot project will improve APHA's understanding of how widely dispersed Red-billed Leiothrix birds are and inform whether a control policy is recommended\. This is a below threshold requirement and genuine research and development \(R&D\) and therefore not captured by Public Contract Regulations \(PCR\) 2015\.
