The National Water Quality Instrumentation Service (NWQIS), a division of National Monitoring Instruments & Systems, currently relies on Meteor Communications Ltd. for a comprehensive web-based telemetry system. This system supports the NWQIS Water Quality Service through a telemetry, web hosting, under a longstanding and support services contract that includes both planned and reactive system support and maintenance.

NWQIS also provides its analytical services to commercial organisations and is expected to provide excellent value for money. Consequently, the EA has the same expectation of all its Contractors.
