Semi Independent Living Services (16-25 yrs) Care Leavers in Salford

The service is to provide medium term housing accommodation to young people aged 16-17 on referral who are care leavers. Accommodation may only be accessed by cared for young people once they cease to be of statutory school age (i.e. on the school leaving date in the academic year in which they turn 16) Those young people who may have learning needs and require more support over an extended timeframe to reach their full potential can stay to 25 if agreed with Next Step Leaving Care Team
