Open Space Strategy for Newark and Sherwood District Council

Quotations are invited to produce a new Open Spaces Strategy (OSS) for Newark & Sherwood, covering the period 2019-2033. This assessment should provide for a robust and sound evidence base (captured on GIS), informing the inclusion of updated open space standards within the Developer Contributions and Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document, and against which decisions on planning applications can be made. The assessment should also provide a robust framework to help (if required) protect the existing open space network, enhance and improve the accessibility and quality of existing provision and provide new open space to expand the network strategically.
