Bus Real Time Passenger Information System

Tender for the provision of Bus Real Time Passenger Information Systems (RTPI) and Associated Services.

The purpose of this project is to deliver the following outcomes:

• A robust back office system and calculation algorithms that enable the prediction engines of the system to provide accurate and reliable information to the users. The solution/system also needs to features a comprehensive set of monitoring and management tools that allow the Council to oversee and optimize the performance of the wider bus network and to plan routes effectively. • The maintenance of the existing on-street and bus station displays that are provided under the contract, ensuring their functionality and quality. • The provision of new on-street and bus station displays that will enhance the user experience and accessibility of the system.
