PURCON2043 - Constable Terrace Roof - AWARD

Constable Terrace is at the West End of Campus and was constructed in 1993. It is part of the Universities student accommodation and houses 390 students in 26 10 bed maisonettes and 110 two bed units.

Circa 45% of its roof was overlayed with a Garland felt system in 2016, following a number of roof leaks the University is now looking at overlaying the remainder, as indicated by the red boundary line.

The existing system is profiled metal sheets and are to be overlayed with a sufficient thickness of insulation to provide a flat surface for a felt capping cover of a 9mm 2 layer felt system, offering a 25 year warranty. As part of these works an allowance needs to be made to replace all Dome's to match those replaced in 2016.
