Updating the evidence base on the relationship between R&D spend and agricultural productivity for the UK

This piece of research looks to update the relationship between agricultural R&D spend and the impact on total productivity for the UK. This is a quantitative piece of work looking at econometric methods to estimate a statistically significant relationship. The output will be used in the cost benefit analysis for the Farming Innovation Programme. It will also undertake a literature review of international case studies and best practises to ensure new R&D is mass-adopted across the agricultural sector.
