Brief Description of Requirement

The UK space sector has strong research capabilities and a growing industrial base, but firms can face a "commercialisation and scale up gap". Space ventures often involve long development cycles, high capital intensity and material technology and market risk. These characteristics can reduce investor confidence, make it harder for firms to access growth finance, and slow progression from capability development to sustained revenues and exportable products.
