## Description

Oldham is committed to working with childcare providers to ensure that all children receive high quality early education and that all childcare providers are judged to be at least 'good' or above by Ofsted\. This specification focuses on childcare on non-domestic\. Most recent Ofsted inspection outcomes for the 79 registered non- domestic early years providers shows that: 98% \(64\) of childcare on non-domestic premises are judged to be good or better\. Of these, 15% \(10\) are Outstanding\. • 1 Requires Improvement • 0 Inadequate • 14 are awaiting the first inspection \(not yet included within reporting statistics\) • 20 are awaiting inspection between October 2024 - October 2025 Oldham Council aims for all Early Years Private Voluntary and Independent \(PVI\) providers to be judged 'Good' or above by Ofsted\.
