Description
Bolsover District Council wishes to appoint a principal contractor on the basis of a JCT contract for their Kitchen Upgrade Programme within tenanted council owned homes. The work comprises both structural and non-structural upgrades including new units, worktops, plumbing, electrical and tiling, within occupied properties. Contractors may also be required to undertake responsive kitchen upgrade works within vacant 'void' properties upon request, working to a 4-week timeframe in completing all required works. Proposed start on site is April 2022 and will comprise (1+2+2 years) duration. The majority of work will take place in occupied properties so the tenant needs and requirements are paramount. The successful contractor will be expected to show flexibility, excellence in tenant support / liaison and work in partnership with the Contract Administrator / Building Surveyor to meet and exceed tenant expectation and levels of satisfaction.
