Work description
George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is a healthcare provider based in Nuneaton that provides a range of hospital and community based care across the whole of Warwickshire as well as South West Leicestershire. The Trust operates out of the George Eliot Hospital based on the outskirts of the town in North Warwickshire. The hospital provides a range of medical, surgical, women’s and children’s services including accident and emergency, maternity and cancer services. The existing arrangements for waste collection at the George Eliot Hospital were implemented a number of years ago and the Trust is undertaking a market engagement exercise to identify potential innovation and service improvements that the market can bring. This exercise will help to identify what options can and should be included within a new service provision. Please see attached documents for a more detailed overview. The date for the information day is Tuesday 6th September. 2016 Appointments are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The trust will use the market information to help identify the best sourcing strategy, (single integrated contract or multi lots) and to assist with development of the specification. To register your interest for the event, you will need to contact Kathy Mardon – Senior Procurement Manager on kathy.mardon@geh.nhs.uk Tel: 02476 865708.
