Work description

The University of Nottingham wishes to appoint suppliers to provide the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) testing and Reactive Maintenance (RM) for fire extinguishers & blankets across all of its UK campus locations. All inherent equipment supplied and installed is owned by the University. The selected supplier will manage the PPM and RM by synchronising their service facilities to that of the University of Nottingham's Estates Office Facilities Management Systems, and on behalf of the University, act as the single point of contact for enquiries about the service. The upcoming procurement will also cover the maintenance of dry risers and fire hydrants across the university campuses.

The University of Nottingham ("the University") is not a contracting authority for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) and its procurement activities are not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Advertisement of any contract in the 'Find a Tender' or 'Contracts Finder' is at the sole discretion of the University and is undertaken on a voluntary basis with no obligation to comply with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended). The University reserves its rights in full to adapt or step outside the procedures in the procurement legislation as the University considers necessary.
