The Supply of Reagents

This Requirement is for the supply of Reagents to Leidos Supply Ltd. This is to be a 4-year agreement with 2 Years firm price and years 3 and 4 priced as per years 3 and 4 priced as per paragraph 1.3 in the Terms and Conditions.

The requirement is made up of products that contain Reagents. A Reagent is a compound or mixture added to a system to cause a chemical reaction or to test if a reaction occurs. Reagents fall into two classifications: Equipment Specific: This covers the majority. These are used in conjunction with equipment that analyse bodily fluids such as blood or urine. They fit a specific piece of equipment to evaluate the sample. Essentially they are closed systems, ensuring only the manufacturer's products may be used. Independent: standalone tests or generic chemicals used across many analysers, and are not dependent on an equipment manufacturer. Leidos intends to award a Multi-Supplier Framework with a minimum of 8 suppliers, more detail can be found in the Instructions to Bidders
