Job Title: Solicitor \(Childcare\) Rate of Pay: £23\.09 per hour \(PAYE\) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE\. Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role\. Brief description: The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE \(or equivalent\) with at least 2 years' experience specialising in and handling child protection and adoption matters, including advocacy, preferably from a local authority prospective\. The successful candidate must be confident and experienced in order to be able to hit the ground running and have the ability to carry a varied case load covering all aspects of public law childcare matters\. The candidate will need to be proactive, work well under pressure, be self-reliant as well as work as part of a wider team\. The successful candidate would gain great exposure to a varied caseload and would enjoy a high level of responsibility with a great deal of client contact\.
