Work description
"The Microsoft Enterprise Subscription Agreement can only be aligned with one Licensing Solutions Partner (LSP). The Trust went to market back in Aug/Sept 2020 for the N365 ESA 3 Year contract. All licenses, both initially added from start of ESA, as well as any subsequent license requirements must be purchased and reported against this agreement.
Insight won the ITQ, and the unit costs and the SKU's now required for Feb, March and April purchases are the same unit costs and SKU's put forward in our winning bid. These 4,000 licenses are continuation of these same costs that were market-tested at the time. It is not possible for any other supplier to provide these licenses under the same ESA contract, and nor is it permitted for the Trust to set up a new ESA for these requirements. The very definition of the Enterprise Agreement, is that it's an estate-wide commitment, hence the heavily-discounted license costs via the Healthcare N365 Memorandum of Understanding."
