Replacement Steps (Needles, Isle of Wight) Public Footpath T23 Timber Steps - Totland Bay.\r \r At the Needles Landmark attraction, Public Footpath T23 is located. This is where access is provided for the Public via timber steps. After years of use, these steps are now in need of replacing. The Public use these steps on T23 from the Needles Park to reach the public footpath T22 that leads to Alum Bay beach. These steps are also part of the King Charles III England Coast Path, on approved section IOW 5: Chilton Chine to Colwell Chine. Therefore, replacing the steps here will be included in the establishment works required, prior to this section of coast path being formally opened. The King Charles III England Coast Path is to meet National Trails standards.\r
