Description
The BFI is seeking to commission a new piece of quantitative and qualitative research that will explore international audience perceptions, attitudes to and consumption of UK screen content and UK talent in a range of markets. The research will provide invaluable audience and territory insights for the BFI and will inform and underpin the work of a branding/marketing agency brief in order to devise the strategy for a new international promotional campaign and brand development funded by the new UK Global Screen Fund. It will also inform the implementation of that campaign, which will be rolled out in key international territories from late 2021 and through 2022. We are looking for a research/insight organisation/supplier who has both expertise of understanding international consumers and audiences and who understands the creative sectors and the nuances associated with audience propensity to discover and consume British content. We want to deepen understanding of how global audiences perceive UK produced films, television programmes, video games and on and off screen talent and how we can increase global recognition of the UK as one of the pre-eminent producers of high quality, creative, risk taking and diverse screen content and talent.
