Work description

Hillingdon was looking to appoint the services of experienced service provider to deliver a homeless employment support scheme with targeted outcomes and outputs by 31st March 2025. All delivery and documentation needs to be submitted by 31st March 2025. In April 2022 the UK government launched the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The UKSPF is a central pillar oft he UK government's Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment across the UK by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK, investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people. In July 2022 the Greater London Authority ('GLA) submitted its UKSPF Investment Plan for London to UK government. The UKSPF Investment Plan sets out the GLA's intention to award London boroughs and sub regional partnerships (SRPs) a direct allocation of UKSPF funding forthe investment priorities Communities and Place, Supporting Local Business and People and Skills. This procurement project fell underthe 'People and Skills' element with the activity for employment support for unemployed and economically inactive adults.

The intended contract start date was 1st December 2023 with an intended contract term of 16 months. The project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
