Description
The BFI is seeking to commission an evidence review which pulls together and outlines the scope and key findings of the existing literature and evidence base for all cultural value, cultural contribution and cultural impact studies published in the past (est. 10-15 year period) on the film, television and video game sectors. This may include research reports, papers, articles, online discussion forums and other evidence sources. The review should focus on evidence relating to the UK film, television and video game sectors, however, we welcome the inclusion of international evidence, where relevant. The review should also detail any gaps in the existing the research base. The evidence review will establish the scope, objectives and conclusions of work that has already been carried out on the cultural value of the film, television and video game sectors, and will inform the scope and objectives of a primary research study into the cultural value of these sectors that the BFI will undertake in 2019-20.
