Description
The City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) has experienced recent rapid growth in Looked After Children placement demand, and whilst a number of initiatives are now in place to manage this, for Fostering in particular there has been an increased reliance on Independent Fostering Agencies, and on-going issues with regards to the placement of older children and children with complex needs. CWC requires a programme of working and learning together with peers, with the successful provider delivering an approach which is 'customer-led' and aims to support placement sufficiency by enabling the improvement and growth of 'in-house' fostering services based on insight from foster carers. Additional information: This was further competition exercise through ESPO Framework 664 - Consultancy Services.
