CWC24032 - Support for City Development Programme

Description

City of Wolverhampton has a growing and very ambitious regeneration programme with the delivery of a large number of existing and pipelines projects. These continue to align with Our City: Our Plan, the Local Plan, Housing Strategy and Good Growth Strategy. The existing City Development team is a small team who are currently at capacity, managing and delivering core regeneration projects including: a business case for a new city centre Hotel, land transactions to enable major re-development of brownfield land for residential use at Canalside South and Horseley Fields and managing property-led projects within the Industrial Sites Programme. As such, additional and specialist development management and innovation corridor delivery expertise is required to effectively delivery City Investment Prospectus priority projects; City Centre West, St Georges and Green Innovation Corridor.
