• The development of an effective and efficient delivery vehicle for the refurbishment of empty homes that can be sustained in the long term through options for rental or sale; • A targeted programme of capital works to refurbish long term empty (LTE) properties in Preston over the next two years to bring homes back into occupation; • The provision of affordable housing in line with the Council's local plan objectives; • Delivery of the Social Justice/Value objectives of the Council in terms of employment, training and supporting the local economy • Work collaboratively with our Housing Advice Team to investigate the use of the properties for homeless families and single people, working with a support provider to assist people who may have complex needs.
