CWC23211 - Ground Rock Salt (Highways)

Under the Highways Act 1980 (England and Wales) Section 41(1A) states: "a highway authority is under a duty to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that safe passage along a highway is not endangered by snow or ice. City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) completes its statutory requirement in accordance with this duty by treating the network with "De-Icing (Rock Salt)" so as to ensure, where reasonably practicable, safe passage along the highway is maintained.

The initial term is 4 years with an option to extend for a further period of 4 years.
