Standard Contracts Review

Description

The Council has a set of standard contracts which require review. These contracts are for; • Supply of Goods • Supply of Services • Supply of Consultancy Services • Framework Agreement and Call-off Order • Residential Carehome Placements (ABC Agreements) • Public Health Services • Social Care and Health Services • Grants In addition the Council requires contracts/agreements for the following; • ICT Cloud based services • Collaboration agreement for use in joint procurements with other public sector bodies • Services Provision (Sales) agreement where the Council is providing services to a third party • Data processing agreement • Parent company guarantee The requirements for the new contracts is that they are; • Modular/sectional with a base set of terms and conditions and a checklist/menu to select additional clauses for specific services and requirements • Allow for entering of contract specific information only once, preferably on a single sheet (eg contract title, dates, supplier name, insurance requirements etc) • Written in clear and plain English Additional information: Mini-Competition run under Councils own Legal Services Framework
