Lot 1A - Barrow Mall Refurbishment Works

Description

The proposed contract forms part of the wider Levelling Up Fund for the regeneration of the indoor Market Hall and the Forum in Barrow-in-Furness. The contract is for the refurbishment of two units (formerly Credit Union and Blackshaw Cycles) at the mall Dalton Road, Barrow-in-Furness, and a small section of the mall underpass. Following consultation with Market Traders since the original tender was issued for the refurbishment of Blackshaw Cycles and Credit Union units within The Mall, it has become evident that there are now more traders to relocate than first thought. The scope of the works has therefore increased and we would like to request a revised tender submission.
