GB-Braintree: Cemetery Design, Dainage & Construction

NOTE: This notice was updated on 05 August 2021 for the following reason: Extended deadline to 18th August 2021(Braintree District Council is looking for a contractor to provide a design and build quotation in order to make a site which is suitable for burials at Braintree Cemetery, including the design and construction of the drainage system, project management of the build and a burial layout design. Particular attention must be given to the prevention of limitation of groundwater pollution caused by human remains.

The section of land is approx. 1.7ha and has never been used, due to the natural saturation of the land, along with the close proximity to the River Brain. With space at a premium, we are looking to use this piece of land as an extension to our main burial area)

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
