The Authority requires a human factors/ergonomics approach to investigate user interactions with vehicles and interfaces whilst performing tasks required of them during emergencies in APS journeys. The overall goal of this approach is to identify tasks that may have to be performed by users during emergencies and consider their needs for performing these tasks.
