Term Service Contract for the Maintenance and Periodic Inspection of Powered Doors and Industrial Access Equipment (Lotted Contract)

Description

Lot 1 - Maintenance and Periodic Inspection and Service of Powered Doors for Pedestrian Use Lot 2 - Maintenance and Periodic Inspection and Service of Industrial Access Equipment The maintenance and periodic inspection of powered doors for pedestrian use, manual and powered industrial doors, shutters, gates, barriers, turnstiles and sliding/ moveable partition walls (named Industrial Access Equipment) in various occupied operational council properties located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Installations may also be required under this contract. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council owns and controls approximately 336 powered doors for pedestrian use, 753 manual and powered industrial doors, shutters, gates, barriers, turnstiles and sliding/ moveable partition walls within its buildings throughout the County, of various types and complexity. The contract scope of work includes the collation and verification of as installed information; undertaking planned inspections, consequential and reactive maintenance works to ensure that systems meet operational and safety standards and the provision of a 24/7 call out service for emergency response to attend at any applicable location in the East Riding of Yorkshire within the prescribed times.
