Qualitative Research to Monitor the Impact of UK Services Sanctions on Businesses and the Russian Economy

To explore and identify the impacts of UK professional and businesses services (PBS) sanctions against Russia on UK businesses and the Russian economy. In this second phase of a two-year project, this research will look at understanding continued business activity via a commercial presence in Russia, or in countries with no or limited sanctions regimes where circumvention to Russia may be occuring, and the ways in which businesses balance sanctions compliance with commercial interests, including by diverting trade abroad and circumventing UK measures.
