17 146 CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF HURDSFIELD DISTRICT HEATING MAPPING AND MASTERPLANNING STUDY

Following the successful award of Round 6 Heat Network Funding from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), and successful award of European Local Energy Assistance (ELENA) grant Cheshire East Council is seeking to commission a district heating Detailed Project Development and Project Commercialisation study for the Crewe Town Centre cluster options identified in a previous heat mapping study (undertaken on behalf of the Council by Aecom in 2015 and funded by HNDU Round 4). The aim of this work is a three stage process, first to: 1. Determine the preferred network option and strategic and operational drivers 2. Provide a detailed design for the identified network 3.
