Work description
Lot 1 is for the provision of CQC's converged fixed and mobile telephony and video conferencing. These are absolutely essential and critical services; not having access to a communications network or fixed andmobile telephones is not an option for CQC. Office based CQC staff need to be able to connect to the CQC network to access ICT services such as desk telephones, email, theY drive, CRM, the internet and ESR and SBS. CQC require a fully integrated converged fixed to mobile telephone service which is IP based and delivered as a hosted commodity. cac have approximately 2,850 staff and 1,975 mobile telephones (Blackberry) and 1250 desk phones. • London:500 • Newcastle:540 • Leeds:90 • Preston: 40 • Bristol: 40 • Birmingham: 40 CQC seek to; minimise their capital asset ownership; reduce operation costs and call charges; have the option to operate with CQC's existing handsets, Cisco 7911G and conference phones; and enjoy a flexible charging model that allows CQC to increase or decrease user accounts with clear and predetermined commercial impact.
