AMNV 013 - Provision of First-time Double Glazing and Insulated External Doors as part of Local Authority Delivery LAD 2

Shropshire Council has secured LAD2 funding to install a number of energy efficiency measures to homes across the County. The LAD scheme aims to raise the energy efficiency of low-income and low EPC rated homes, delivering progress towards, reducing fuel poverty, the phasing out of high carbon fossil fuel heating and the UK's commitment to net zero by 2050. Measures will be delivered across all tenures.

Shropshire Council are looking to appoint a lead contractor to help deliver 'first-time' double glazed windows and insulated external doors to approximately 45 households across Shropshire. The Council is seeking a high quality, lead contractor that has all relevant accreditations including Trustmark and PAS2030. The lead contractor will be customer focused and able to support and increase the capacity of the local supply chain to deliver these measures now and in the future. This should include a training and support package including quality assurance on completed installs.
