THE PROVISION OF A IN BORE DRIVE

UKAEA have a requirement for an In-bore drive: The in-bore drive system will be an in-bore track driven unit than creates traction based on the tracks being pushed against the walls of the pipework (~90mm ID pipes). The pipework shall have design features that the drive will need to be able to move past. The in-bore drive shall be used to push and pull tools within the bore of a pipe and to measure the distance travelled. The in-bore drive shall have two mechanical interfaces. One at the front and back.
