The contracting authority will be Worcestershire County Council, which is a non-metropolitan county in the West Midlands. The authority needs to secure services to maintain its roads, footways, bridges and other structures, including drainage gullies, as well as road signs, road markings, and verges, and needs to provide a winter service, which may include provision of gritting vehicles. It also needs to secure the provision and / or maintenance of gritting and 200 + fleet vehicles, including minibuses used for school transport.
