Carlton Active Demolition Contract (Richard Herrod Centre)

Gedling Borough Council appointed Alliance Leisure Services Ltd through the UK Leisure Framework to deliver the Carlton Active project. As part of the approved Leisure Transformation Programme, a two-phase enabling works package was commissioned to facilitate redevelopment of the Richard Herrod Centre site. The Phase 2 Demolition contract incorporates the demolition of the Richard Herrod Centre and associated site preparation works required to create a development-ready site for the future Carlton Active facility.

Delivery of Phase 2 Enabling Works comprising: • Demolition of the Richard Herrod Centre. • Removal of associated slabs and foundations. • Site clearance and preparation works. • Demolition of existing bowls club structures. • Temporary site infrastructure and security arrangements. • Utility disconnections and enabling infrastructure works. • Associated project management and delivery services through the UK Leisure Framework.
