Description
A high quality experience during the application process is essential to maximise UCLan's ability to recruit and convert quality applicants. As part of the University's commitment to the improvements of the applicant experience, a project has been established to ensure high quality communication and engagement with applicants, as well as developing appropriate presentation and access to a suite of services supporting the application process. The project will ensure the applicant experience aligns with the University Brand, presenting UCLan as a professional, innovative and dynamic university. It is envisaged that this project will improve applicant conversion, enabling UCLan to at least sustain its current size, following the 2020/21 recruitment cycle. Recruitment is an important strategic priority for the university. Successful suppliers will need to provide assurances that a full solution will begin to be implemented from the award date of 29.10.2018, followed by a phased roll out from to ensure a timely implementation. It is imperative that the Recruitment and Partnership Service can manage and configure the portals, application forms and communications for ongoing continual improvement without the reliance on IT specialists or the suppliers. The University is open to receiving Tenders from providers of COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) solutions with a proven track record of successfully implementing systems in the HE sector. Flexibility can be via customisation but via configuration is preferred. In addition, the University is open to tenders that utilise current systems for aspects of delivery of a solution, however there is a preference for a single system to manage all the requirements listed.
