Request for Information for an Ecological Data Centre

The Authority currently use an ecological data centre which collates, manages, disseminates, and analyses ecological records for North and East Yorkshire. The data centre services data requests for the Authority, to comply with legislative provisions such as the Environmental Information Regulations. The data services provide a robust evidence base for the development of the Local Plan, development management function of the Authority but also supports new local authority requirements in relation to Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and the biodiversity duty reporting.
