Somerset West and Taunton Council Sewage Plant Planned Preventative Maintenance

SWT is seeking to appoint one suitably accredited and experienced contractor to provide planned preventative maintenance on seventeen existing sewage treatment sites in the SWT district. This procurement is being conducted as an Open Procedure in compliance with Somerset West and Taunton contract Standing Orders. The opportunity is being advertised via the Procontract portal and Contracts Finder in compliance with PCR2015 Procurement Regulations. The contract will be for an initial period of 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months. 1) The services required are as follows: a) Servicing and Maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, septic tank systems and associated pumping stations including emptying and disposal of wastewater liquor and sludge. Routine maintenance and up keep of mechanical / electrical plant. b) Reactive and emergency work as required to maintain the continuous function of the SWT wastewater works and systems, and the main drainage pipe network connected to the SWT wastewater systems. Submissions should be via the Procontract portal before 12 noon on 26 September 2022.
