Providing Support for Young Carers and Families in Norfolk - AWARD

Norfolk County Council's contract for the provision of Young Carers Services is due to end on 31st of March 2024. The Council is currently scoping its requirements for a new contract to commence on 1 April 2024. The Provider/s will be expected to deliver effective young carers and families services supporting young carers and families aged 5-18 and some extended support for their families in order to identify, assess and reduce excessive and inappropriate caring responsibilities improving outcomes for young people. This includes the provision of skilled and qualified workers to deliver support in key areas such as education, family support, community provision, and world of work. This will operate as one contract with the flexibility to cover Norfolk countywide.

Before we go out to tender, we wish to engage with the market and invite interested bidders to attend a Teams meeting to hear more about this project. We currently have contracts for this service and believe that TUPE will apply.
