Description
Households into Work (HiW) is a £4.45 million project jointly funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), under its Innovative Pilot Programme. The two year pilot project was designed to support unemployed residents back into work. It takes a whole household approach and seeks to overcome circumstances that leave individuals within the household unable to take up or sustain employment. The LCRCA wishes to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to evaluate the impact of the programme, understand the cost effectiveness of the approach and identify the lessons from the programme's delivery. The lessons from the evaluation will inform national and local policy on employment related support for people with non-vocational work related barriers. The evaluation findings will also inform the future design and implementation of any successor programmes to HiW. Additional information: The relevant expression of interest and online template is available via The Chest portal - https://www.the-chest.org.uk. The reference for the project is DN445467.
