Limes Avenue Landscaping for Climate Adaptations - London Borough of Sutton

The London Borough of Sutton is working on an exciting project to improve a green space as part of our response to the Climate Emergency.\r \r As part of Sutton's response to the climate emergency, we are working to improve Limes Avenue Recreation Ground to mitigate against extreme heat and high levels of rain leading to surface water flooding, while also meeting the needs of the local community and improving the appearance of the space.\r \r The Council is seeking a contractor to work with us to deliver the landscape improvements to help us to mitigate against extreme heat and surface water flooding, while also having interest for the community and improving the appearance of and increasing use of the space.\r \r The works involve tree planting, new mixed hedgerow, new meadow, bulb planting in existing grass. Installation of wooden playful sculptures and signage/ interpretation boards.\r \r The Budget for this tender is in the range of £52K-£59K Maximum
