Employment Land Study

London Borough of Hackney (The Council) is commissioning an employment land study (ELS) to provide an updated employment uses evidence base for emerging policy documents, including Area Based Plans and the future review of the adopted Local Plan.\r The ELS will include an assessment of employment land and detail the supply of and demand for employment floorspace (office and industrial) across the Borough. It should provide appropriate policy recommendations, including any proposed revisions to existing designated employment area boundaries or new areas that should be designated to meet demand for floorspace or protect existing clusters.
