GB-Cheltenham: Confidential Waste Disposal Services

Description

Quotations are invited for the provision of Locked Security Cabinets and other related equipment for the storage, collection and secure off-site destruction of Confidential Materials at various locations at the offices/depots of Ubico Ltd. In accordance with the Data Protection Legislation the Authority is required to dispose of a variety of documents relating to personal data. To fully comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, Ubico Ltd must have a written contract with a supplier to handle confidential waste. This contract must provide a guarantee that all aspects of collection and destruction are carried out in a secure and compliant manner. Therefore any potential service providers who are compliant with BS EN 15713 Certification Destruction of Confidential Material and BS7858:2019 Security Vetting are invited to return a quote for this opportunity. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
