Description
North West Net Zero Hub, acting on behalf of Local Net Zero Hubs across England, is seeking the services of advisors with relevant expertise to support the regions of England to prepare information to inform transitional Regional Energy Strategic Plans (RESP) in 2025 and also lay the ground so that local authorities can be ready to develop robust Local Net Zero Plans that can inform full RESPs in 2028. The purpose of this project is to enable Hubs and local government in England to be ready for RESPs in 2025 by supporting them to understand the importance and implications of RESPs, while also laying the groundwork for Local Net Zero Plans to be systematically developed over the subsequent three years so that all areas of England have some form of Local Net Zero Plan by 2028 at the latest, subject to their being funding to support this.
