Description
Isaac Maddox House (IMH), Shrub Hill Road, Worcester forms part of the Industrial Estate owned by the County Council. The County and City Councils are working together to regenerate the Shrub Hill area as an employment led mixed use regeneration zone benefitting from more frequent train services to and from Worcester and the major urban conurbations and investment in improving facilities for railway users at Shrub Hill Station. IMH was built in the 1930s as offices for the adjacent engineering works and consists of approximately 50,000 ft2 gia of employment space currently arranged as cellular offices on the ground and first floors and individual workshop units on the lower ground floor approached from the Lower Yard. The offices were last occupied by the NHS Community and Mental Health Services Trust and vacated in 2018. A number of the workshop units are still occupied on short term tenancies.
